程鹏,灵犬旅行车创办者及设计者,长途骑行爱好者。

2008年在成都读书的程鹏毕业后选择留在成都工作,并每天用自行车作为上下班代步工具,并从那时开始渐渐地接触到了骑行这个理念。从成都周边的周末短途骑行开始,程鹏的骑行距离越来越长,范围也越来越广。2011年,程鹏第一次辞职选择骑行川藏公路318,历时一个月。这是程鹏第一次真真切切感受到无拘无束骑行在路上的快乐,紧跟着程鹏很快决定去骑另一个想去的地方——海南,于是继续来到海南环岛一周。结束318与海南骑行后的程鹏回到成都继续工作,并在工作之余保持骑行的常态,直到2013年9月他再次辞职,这次他选择骑行世界。一个月之内,选车改装加配置,10月由广西入境越南,这是他第一次出国,走哪儿算哪儿,归国无期。

一个人,一辆车,一路阳光普照,一路风雨颠簸,亚非中东15国,15000公里,300多个日出日落。从随意随性的东南亚来到乱中有序的印度,再到戒备森严的中东国家,最后是无尽落日的大漠撒哈拉,程鹏看到了前二十几年人生不曾看过的风景,了解了世界各地风俗文化,结交了同为路上的朋友。他并没有拍很多照片,而是将最美的回忆刻在脑海中,写在日记中,文字是这一路风景的见证。旅途,不全是美好,在阿富汗程鹏曾被持枪顶头,曾被司机行窃,他都凭勇气与胆识一一化险为夷。当初一时的好奇心让他冒着生命危险独自一人骑车进入阿富汗,最然平安归来,有惊无险,如今想来后怕,他说阿富汗啊,你们还是不要来了。

非洲的骑行算是痛并快乐着。很多地方条件极其简陋,在撒哈拉无人区的半个月里更是无网无水,最艰难时甚至只能靠饮用雨水与湖水。想象一下在撒哈拉超50度的地表温度上骑车,负重60公斤,岂非常人能接受,程鹏反而觉得这是难得的磨练,祖先们都是这样生存下来了,现代人难道连古人还不如吗。

结束最后一个国家坦桑尼亚的骑行后,2014年7月某一天程鹏回到中国安徽合肥,为了心爱的姑娘,这一天,他刚满三十。谁说梦想就是一堆不切实际的泡沫,谁说旅途是不真实的生活。三十而立之年,他凭着自己机械设计的学科背景,凭着对骑行的热情与经验,凭着对自行车相关知识这么多年的积累与了解,凭着对梦想的执着与对现实的不低头,他沉下心来,九个月,设计出了属于自己的旅行车架,2015年4月正式创办了灵犬旅行车,灵犬,以他和她的爱狗命名,他说,等狗狗离开以后,这是最好的纪念方式。狗,自行车,骑行都是他生命里最美好的陪伴。

从骑车到造车,程鹏一直在做着大多数人做着的梦,却做着小部分人做的事,他希望做更好的旅行车,MADE IN CHINA;并与爱人继续走完未到达的地方,有灵犬相伴。

The start of the affair: Cheng Peng, Cycling, and DOGGY Bike.
 
My name’s Cheng Peng, known to friends and family simply as ‘Peng’, was born in Datong, Shanxi Province in China 1984. At the time children grew-up quickly, I were often raised in hardship and were expected to do some riding delivery work with my father from an early age. I enjoyed riding the bike as part of my rounds, and an interest in cycling had sparked to life from then.
 
A few years later, I completed my machinery designing bachelor degree in ChengDu, Sichuang Province, in which cycling is rather popular than other cities in China. I worked in there for 5 years. Then I thought I were growing tired of living in the mundane and felt the need for a dramatic change. The idea of traveling by bicycle was appealing to me from the stand point of its simplicity, its affordability and the exposure to possibilities. With traveling by bicycle, I see and experience so much more in the slow pace of pedaling than I ever could in the enclosure of a speeding car. The destination did not really matter anyway. I just wanted to have a taste of total freedom. I wanted to leave not knowing where things were going to lead me and not having anything that would restrain me (return date, work, house…).
 
I have been on the road since 2013 to 2014 and have covered 15000KM through 15 countries. I started from Vietnam and successfully got to Tanzania in Africa overland. You can check out my journal in this website.
 
The journey reestablished my value toward the world and the nside of me, which brings me openness, curiosity ,respect, understanding, and fearless. I would like to pass my values to people know me or unknown me .
 
When I back to China ,I decided to design my own touring bike frame brand in Anhui province just for completing my dream and value. I named my brand DOOGY to commemorate my lovely puppy boy and girl. I guess DOGGY is the reason you’ve coming here and reading about me.
What will the future bring? Who knows, I will never guessed I ended up cycling that long, but in this moment, I put all of me in DOGGY Frame, hope you can feel it by heart.
